Mr. Huynh Nguyen

Mr. Huynh Nguyen is BrosPartners’ Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the company’s operations in Vietnam.  He is also the company’s Chief Investment Officer who handles all trading activities for both the company’s and clients’ investment accounts.  Mr. Huynh is a highly regarded individual among young finance professionals in Vietnam.  He has an extensive knowledge of Vietnam ever-changing securities markets and financial regulations and policies.

Mr. Huynh began his investment career in 2005 at Dong A Bank Securities when the largest and only stock exchange – Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) – was on the developing stage.  In 2007, Mr. Huynh started working for Saigon Securities Incorporated (SSI), the largest and most prestigious investment banking firm in Vietnam, as an Investment Analyst and quickly rose to become the Associate Director of Principal Investment Department in 2010, responsible for the firm’s own capital investment.  He was among SSI’s six mid-level managers who worked with McKinsey in 2010 during the company’s restructuring and strategy consulting project.  Early 2011, Mr. Huynh joined Viet Capital Fund as one of only three Investment Managers at the firm, overseeing investments of approximately $150 million in assets.

Mr. Huynh is currently an Investment Strategy Director at Dong A Bank Securities working alongside with Boston Consulting Group in the bank’s overall restructuring effort.  Mr. Huynh received his Master of Science in Finance from University of Exeter (United Kingdom) in 2009 and is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
